Talia & Landon’s Waterfront Celebration

Talia and Landon’s wedding weekend in beautiful Key West was everything I love about destination celebrations. Intentional, emotional, and centered entirely around connection. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that their love story was something truly special. Capturing it was an absolute honor.
Some weddings remind you why you chose this career in the first place. This was one of them. Talia and Landon made me fall in love with my craft all over again.

The weekend began with a ceremony on the water at The Reach. Surrounded by the ocean, soft light, and the sound of waves nearby, the ceremony felt calm and deeply meaningful.
Key West has a way of slowing everything down. There is a natural ease to being by the water, and it created the perfect atmosphere for Talia and Landon to be fully present with one another. The setting did not need much. The love they shared filled the space effortlessly.
This is one of the reasons I love photographing destination weddings. When couples choose locations that feel true to them, the experience becomes just as important as the celebration itself.

Rather than focusing on a single day, Talia and Landon planned a wedding weekend that allowed their guests to truly experience Key West alongside them. It felt relaxed, thoughtful, and full of intention.
Every moment felt unhurried. From quiet conversations by the water to joyful celebrations with their closest people, the weekend unfolded naturally. These are the kinds of weddings that photograph beautifully because they are rooted in genuine connection.

The weekend concluded with a reception at The Oldest House, one of Key West’s most historic and charming locations. The contrast between the waterfront ceremony and the rich history of the reception space added so much depth to their celebration.
The Oldest House offered a timeless backdrop for an evening filled with laughter, storytelling, and heartfelt moments. It was the perfect way to bring the weekend together. Classic, intimate, and full of character.
Key West is an incredible destination for couples who want their wedding to feel like an experience rather than an event. The natural beauty, historic venues, and relaxed atmosphere create space for moments that feel real and unforced.
As a Tampa-based wedding photographer who travels throughout Florida and along the East Coast, Key West is always a place I’m drawn to. The light, the textures, and the coastal surroundings lend themselves beautifully to timeless, emotional imagery.

What stood out most about Talia and Landon’s wedding was not just how beautiful it was, but how it felt. Their love for one another, their gratitude for their people, and the joy woven into every part of the weekend made it unforgettable.
These are the stories I love telling. The ones that feel honest, emotional, and deeply personal.
If you are planning a wedding in Key West or anywhere along the East Coast and are looking for photography that feels timeless, intentional, and true to you, I would love to connect.
